Tony has become a partner in the business after taking over from his father who recently retired. His extensive experience in a management role has well equipped him for his transition from the corporate workplace in Sydney as the MD of a major telecommunications company to the Managing Director of one of the coasts leading brokerages. A passionate sailor and owner of many sizes and styles of vessel, he was involved in the process of completing construction of a 50' schooner. This process involved numerous local trades and has resulted in a truly magnificent yacht called "CAROLINA". Tony's experience in marketing and technology will ensure that Ensign is kept at the forefront of the marine Industry. With a vision to see Ensign Ship Brokers become a leading force marine brokerage in sales, but more importantly an example for customer service. The launch of the ENSIGN 50 was a key project to which Tony spent much of his time. This vessel set new standards in quality and value for money and the after sales service that Ensign provides is the main difference between competing products.
Peter, Gold Coast born and the "Old Salt" of the crew, gained early boating experience crewing charter boats in the Mediterranean in the seventies. After selling his business in 1980, Peter and some friends bought a 42' Chapelle Gaff Schooner and sailed it to Rhode Island for the successful Australian Americas Cup Challenge in 1983 as a prelude to cruising the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Caribbean and adjoining areas for the next four years. After returning to Australia and with a couple of businesses behind him, Peter joined Ensign as a boat broker and along with the present co- owner, Tony's father, Jim, bought the long established business. Peter's cruising knowledge and experience is available to any potential customers, and he finds great personal satisfaction finding the right boat to suit the buyer, be it power, house or sail.
Scott has been around boats his whole life, as his Aunty was the head judge of the Bridge to Bridge water ski race for over 20 years, and his family grew up with the ski crew and boat teams. So if you are after any kind of advice on any boating matters, he is more than happy to help.

His goal is to help to promote the luxurious life on the water so that they can enjoy the great life style that he has for so many years. Gordon is passionate about any form of boating and will provide all assistance possible to find the right vessel for your requirements. Having lived on various vessels for the last 3 years Gordon is well placed to advise on the reality of live aboard boating. A belief that you need to have been at sea on a bad day as well as a good ensures that when Gordon talks and looks at a vessel it is from sound knowledge and experience.

Originally hailing from England, RalphHogg had a boat building and retail business called Orion Marine. After selling that business, he spent some time cruising and sailing in the North Atlantic and Mediterranean. Upon his arrival to Australia in 1996, Ralph developed North South Yachting. This business served to import Bavaria Yachts and X-Yachts. This rapidly-growing boat business was selling at least sixty boats each year and imported over 500 boats.
Ralph spent some time cruising before selling the North South Yachting in 2003. Ralph keeps his boat in the Mediterranean and spends a couple of months each year. He has now returned to work as a director of the Sydney Ensign Ship Brokers office, and is determined to match boat to client as best as possible.
